Jesus Calling: 365 Devotions for kids

No sooner did I receive this book in the mail than my 18 year old daughter eagerly grabbed it and began reading it. She wondered if the devotions would be useful to her in her volunteer work with children. To our pleasant surprise, we discovered a wonderful encouragement in this book. The author writes from Jesus heart to ours. She writes in an encouraging way, never accusing, never setting out expectations that very few people can reach, just a lot of love written out in an easy to read format. I appreciate her upbeat, positive outlook. The physical appearance and feel of the book is pleasant because it is designed to look like it is already an often used, well-worn tome. Final verdict from my teenaged daughter is not only does she feel the book will be useful in her work with children, but she also plans to use it in her own devotional activities. As a gift, I believe this book would be a wonderful blessing to anyone you might choose to give it to, regardless of their age. It is innocent and pure and encouraging. I highly recommend it.
